Since August 2009 our circle has received a new member. Please welcome our new member – Robin Hake.
If you know a lady that would like more information or an application to join, please contact any of the officers listed at the top of this newsletter. We will be inviting ladies to join our circle in April at both St. Boniface and St. Mary’s. Please invite a friend to join you at the May Spring Potluck to introduce her to our organization.
Keeping in Touch with each other takes work on everyone’s part. We continue to send Birthday Cards to all members as a reminder that we appreciate each other. We also send appropriate cards, votives, and prayers to all members in need of special attention. If you know of a member who is not well, lost a loved one, or needs a little TLC (tender loving care), we want to know so we can extend our support and prayers to her. Contact any officer with information about a member in need. WE CARE!

2009 ILLINOIS STATE
SPRING CONFERENCE
On Saturday, April 24 the Illinois State Circle Spring Conference will be held in Effingham at the Thelma Keller Convention Center from 9:00-4:30. This is a one-day conference open to all members of the circles. The conference will open with a Mass at 9:00 followed by a business meeting. Lunch will be offered on site with workshops in the afternoon. Workshop topics include fundraising activities and update on the Daughters of Isabella Constitution and By-laws. The State Circle audit will be conducted on the evening before the general meeting.
2010 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

As O’Reilly Circle 218 Regent, I will attend and represent you at the International Convention. I will report to you on all issues and concerns discussed at the meeting in Montreal in the September business meeting. We hope that our Illinois State Circle will have a good representation at convention. Our voice will be heard and our vote will be counted!

KC Fish Fry Dessert Table
Thank you for the support you have given to the Dessert Table at the KC Fish Fry. During Lent we offer our delicious desserts on every Friday. This is an on-going fundraiser for us throughout the year. This Lent the response from the public has been very generous. Please respond to the need when Maxine calls you to bring desserts. Thanks for the delicious good work.
SALAD LUNCHEON/CARD PARTY
Monday, April 19
This is our largest fund-raiser of the year. It is open to the general public. Serving will begin at 12 Noon. Card party groups are welcome from 10:30 on. Tickets are $6 each, available at door. We ask each member to donate two salads and a small door prize. For more information, please call any officer. All officers and members are welcome to help. Please plan to stay for a short business meeting after the Salad Luncheon.
SPRING POTLUCK
May 17
The Spring Potluck is scheduled for May 17 at the K of C Hall. All members are asked to bring two covered dishes to share with other and table service for themselves and their guests. This is a great time to invite a friend to come experience the unity, friendship and charity enjoyed by our circle. We will be using the calling committees to get a head count for the amount of meat to order. More information will be coming at our short business meeting after the Salad Luncheon in April.
